Social and peace projects
Ibrahim is widely known as 'the ambassador of goodwill from the Mount of Olives' and is much respected by peace-loving Jews and Palestinians alike.
He has received in his home thousands of visitors from around the world and is currently giving hospitality to many of the international peace workers who are visiting the Holy Land. He invites all he meets to his home for food and a bed for the night, giving them a wonderful experience of Palestinian open-heartedness.
Recently Ibrahim, and any of his visitors who wish to join him, have been part of Jewish-Arab delegations bringing humanitarian relief to Palestinians in Beit Jala and Ramallah.
Ibrahim is also active in the weekly Old City Peace Vigil and works with many visiting peace and human rights delegations. For over 30 years he has been involved in peace and reconciliation efforts between Arabs and Jews in the Holy Land.
